We start a brand new series called “Uncommon Grit” where we’ll look at the life of Old Testament Joseph. Grit has become a popular word to denote strength of character and strength of will, both of which Joseph had in spades. Joseph’s life wasn’t easy and certainly wasn’t fair; yet, he lived out what it meant to stand for what you believe and to live it out faithfully, no matter the situations in his life. In a world where we have no control over our circumstances, Joseph teaches us so much about how we do have complete control of how we respond.
